Sarabande

(Christoph Nichelmann)

Sarabande is the slow movement from a harpsichord suite by Christoph Nichelmann (1717- 1762) in an arrangement for three guiitars by Andrew Forrest.

Christoph Nichelmann was a composer that worked in between the Baroque and Classical eras. He was a contemporary of Bach and Telemann and achieved a career as second harpsichordist at the court of Frederic the Great of Prussia.

Also with Sarabande the tempo is reasonably low! Play the piece in a lofty tone.
